Dyofix blocks the red end of the spectrum
By adding DyoFix to water, a filter is being created to block colours from the red end of the spectrum getting through to the bottom of your pond or lake.
How does this help?
Photosynthesis needs red light
All plants, surface or submerged use the process of photosynthesis to thrive and grow and the whole process relies on red light to drive it.
By adding a filter to the pond or lake water you are blocking some, or all, of the red light and the process of photosynthesis is interrupted, with the result of little or no further growth
What is Biofix?

BioFix AQT is a highly effective, high-density, powdery product specially selected to increase the ability to digest excess waste, algae treatment and pond cleaning through food-competition mechanism in water.
In addition, the product also has additives and microbiology to treat pond water, which stimulates the growth of shrimp and fish.
BioFix AQT includes specially selected microbiology, active enzyme systems and surface sediments.
Because of the diversity of safe, natural bacterial strains and active enzyme system, BioFix AQT is an excellent product for cleaning ponds through algae treatment, reducing BOD and TSS density.
The product also helps to reduce the content of toxins such as NH3, ammonia, H2S.

Commercial pond dyes are non-toxic, high-quality, food colours providing a cost-effective method of controlling algae and weeds without affecting the health of fish, wildlife and plants.
Dyofix commercial pond and lake dyes are supplied in two forms; powder sachets to treat large bodies of water and a liquid solution for smaller fisheries and large ponds.

The bioactive formula also contains selected strains of microbiology to decompose excess contaminants in shrimp ponds, while helping shrimp and fish fight off pathogenic microbiology.
This safe bacteria is selected so as to produce the optimal enzyme system, ensuring effective breakdown of proteins, carbohydrates, cellulose and fats. Therefore, the digestive coefficient of shrimp and fish will be improved and the amount of excreted waste will be reduced. The beneficial microbiology will reside in the digestive system and stomach of shrimp and fish to enhance the food digestion and reduce the influence of pathogenic microbiology or toxins.

Algae thrives in waters where there is a build up of nutrients.
Barley straw extract brings with it a beneficial bacteria that competes with the algae for the available nutrients, it also produces a small amount of hydrogen peroxide that produces a natural chemical affecting the growth and reproduction of algal cells.
Dosage rates
